Chester Zoo - Education and Outreach

Chester Zoo - Education and Outreach

We currently deliver Education & Outreach for Chester Zoo in schools across the North West to KST1 & 2, and SEN pupils.

We have been working alongside Chester Zoo for three years, and offer school's in the North West three interactive performance workshops - Wildlife Connections, Sing for Songbirds and Sustainable Palm Oil for KST 2 and SEN.

Wildlife Connections project helps young people to connect with wildlife in their back garden, at school and in their communities. Making spaces safer and more appealing to the creatures that live there with Harry the Hedgehog and Bee.

Sustainable Palm Oil project introduces the idea that making one change at the checkout can help in the fight to save our rainforests and the animals that live their like Chocolate our baby orangutan.

Sing for Songbirds project deals with the plight of the Indonesian Songbirds and how raising awareness and fundraising campaigns can really make a difference to songbirds like Java our Gren Magpie proving that even though you're little, you can make a big difference to the world around you.
