Meet Our Trustees
Here at The Denbigh Workshop, our trustees play a vital role in guiding the charity, decision making, supporting our aims and objectives and come from a wide range of backgrounds... let's meet them

Rosalind Williams
Rosalind Williams is our Chair of trustees. She has extensive experience in the education and third sector as a Director, consultant and trustee. She is committed to helping the charity create positive experiences in drama, theatre and the arts as a way of developing self confidence, building self esteem and enhancing well being.

Gilly Teasdale
Gilly has lived and worked in North Wales for over forty years, having Welsh roots in this area. During this time she has worked in a variety of hospitals in the North West and also at Bangor University where she was a lecturer in Mental Health. Since retiring from this post she has spent a lot of her free time with local musicians, singing and playing music to raise money for local and international charities. She is excited to have joined The Denbigh Workshop as a trustee and hopes that she will be able to make a valid contribution to this fantastic charity.

Jenny Sandle
Jenny is a retired teacher. During her career she taught children from the age of seven up to A Level students and adults in locations as diverse as deprived urban areas to the idyllic, extremely rural, Outer Hebrides. She specialised in English and Drama. She has lived locally in Nantglyn for over twenty years, although her family originate from Ynys Mon.
When she retired she was delighted to be asked to become a Trustee for Denbigh Workshop. This dynamic charity makes a huge difference to the members of our community through performing arts. She is proud to be able to do something to help in our fantastic work.

Jane Jarvis
Jane has worked in education for 27 years, teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. She has held a range of leadership responsibilities over that time and is currently Head of Sixth Form. As well as holding a Trustee role with The Denbigh Workshop, Jane is also an experienced secondary school Governor. During her career, Jane has seen huge changes in education; she has also developed understanding of the needs of the secondary sector and a passion for education.
Her daughter enjoyed a successful, confidence-building Saturday morning Youth Theatre experience with The Denbigh Workshop and Jane is keen to support the charity through its growth and future development. She is inspired by the altruistic and inclusive nature of the charity, and specifically the positive impact it has on improving the lives of others, including those most disadvantaged in our local area.
